Cliptio is designed to respect your privacy.
Cliptio does not collect personal information, create user accounts, or track you across apps or websites.
Cliptio does not maintain its own servers and does not send your data to the developer or to any third-party servers. When iCloud is enabled, your data is stored only within your private iCloud account.
Cliptio stores your saved content either on your device or, if you enable iCloud, in your private iCloud account. In Apple’s App Store privacy labels, this is reported as “User Content — collected for app functionality.” This data is not linked to your identity and is not accessible to the developer.
Content you save in Cliptio (clips, highlights, metadata, and backup snapshots) is stored locally on your device.
If you enable iCloud, your Cliptio data is also stored in your private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit service. This allows your data to be backed up, mirrored, and restored across devices signed in with the same Apple ID.
When iCloud is enabled, Cliptio may read and write data to your iCloud account so that:
No clip content is transmitted to Cliptio’s developer or to any third-party servers.
If you experience a problem, Cliptio allows you to manually choose to email a diagnostic log to the developer.
If you choose not to send a diagnostic log, nothing is transmitted.
Cliptio does not use third-party analytics, crash reporting services, advertising SDKs, or trackers.
Cliptio accesses the network only:
Cliptio does not otherwise communicate with external services.
